D-HTML
D-HTML allows our developers to create sites that will have slight changing effects as the user browses the site. HTML is presently the most widely used code in Web development today. The downside to HTML is that it's "static" - the page is set and remains un-enhanced. The "D" in D-HTML stands for "Dynamic"; meaning, "to change". Dynamics make Web sites more interesting and can keep the user engaged. One example of this is in music - Loud, Soft...Fast, Slow...Staccato, Legato. Dynamic Music is always more interesting to hear, than music that is not. The same holds true for Web sites. To help accomplish this, we use technologies such as JavaScript and the seldom seen style sheets. To see examples, you needn't go any further than our own site here. Take the menu at left for example. It uses D-HTML to make the graphics change when your mouse moves over them. Also, the text links make use of style sheets to change color as you move your mouse over them.

Java Applets
Java applets allow animation and visual effects to be added to images. A good use for applets would be for something like creating an art gallery. Macromedia Flash
Macromedia Flash is a vector based animation program used to create very impressive, interactive Web sites, even more so than using D-HTML. Macromedia Flash acts as a movie, where the contents are laid out in frames. Flash can be used to enhance or even build an entire site for both the Web and CD-Rom. Graphic Design/Animation
Let's face it, any Webmaster can scan a few images and insert them into the site. But at E*Tap Marketing, we believe in using customized graphics. Using programs such as Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, as well as other technical illustration and gif animation software, we can create some impressive graphical effects. Utilizing similar programs, we can compress graphic files to minimize download time for your Web site. Yet another aspect that makes a site more pleasing to the eye.
